Field Bastard-toadflax      Thesium humile

Native to the Canary Islands, eastwards through the Mediterranean Region to Iran and the Arabian Peninsula. Leaves slightly fleshy with fine teeth along the margins. Leafy bracts 2-5x length of the flower, bracteole about the same length as the flower.

Native to southern and eastern Europe, south-east to Iran. On Lesvos, occurs as a hemiparasite on Sweet Chestnut and oaks.
